On September 20th 1998 two established churches, St Stephen's Christian Fellowship and Canterbury New Covenant Church decided to join together and form a new church. Both churches had similar desires and aims and both were linked to Ichthus Christian Fellowship in London. Our purpose together is to meet the needs of people, especially the local community of St. Stephens, by bringing the good news of Jesus Christ to as many as possible. On a wider scale we seek to spread this message across Canterbury by working by working together with other Churches, in the City, in street evangelism and other united activities. We are very much a family and our meetings reflect this by being informal, friendly and relaxed but still having an awareness that we are all meeting together with God to worship him. We support Kidz Klub in the City centre, which if for children of all ages, and we also provide for all children on Sundays through a crèche.
